Ireland networks 04 October 2023

Posted by Michael Beaver on

Whilst in Dublin Airport we fired up an intercom PCB and scanned a few networks here. This PCB has 2G, 3G and 4G radio access. The results are below.

We see all three technolgies still available in the airport. This is to be expected as this will be one of the last places we see them shutdown. Elsewhere in Ireland we have seen at least 3G on Vodafone and 3 missing.

Eir: 4G, 3G, 2G

3: 4G, 3G, 2G (2G being the old O2 network)

Vodafone: 4G, 3G, 2G
