Issue: Double output pulse on dial-ins
On 23/10/20 Hutchinson Telecom appear to have changed the way they reject calls to our portal. Instead of denying access to the number (which subsequently played a message stating you not able to place the call) they now perform a hard reject. With some incoming networks this would cause the network to instantly redial our number. Consequently this would cause our gate openers to perform a second output pulse operation stopping a gate from opening fully.
The Fix
To resolve this issue, we store in the database the time of the last call from each number and then exclude further activations from this number for 10s.
This should be safe and not affect any current operations as it is very difficult to intentionally redial a number within 10s.
